#tracibautistaCOLOR XL WATERCOLOR FLAKES
This a new way to approach how watercolor is packaged. While I love half pans, I wanted a way to use larger brushes and mix multiple colors...so I created these.
They pair perfectly with my watermedia inks. Drop a few of ink onto the palette to create a plethora of color mixtures.
The limited edition, one-of-a-kind palette cakes are multi-layered watercolors presented in a flat XL cake on a large piece hand painted Strathmore Watercolor or Mixed Media swatch card.
The paint XL flakes measure up to .75” with a hand painted card and kraft chipboard, the final product size is up to 2" x 2.5".
Each handmade color is carefully mulled on a marble slab to create a rich textured granulating watercolor paint.
This is a perfect way to try out a variety of Traci's handmade paints.
The MEDIUM watercolor dots are packed with pigment and will last a long time, they are great to take on the road for your travels. Tuck them into your sketchbook and create an on-the-go watercolor palette.

ABOUT THE PAINT
limited edition handcrafted artisan paints created by traci bautista. Each collection is one-of-a-kind. There are limited quantities and once they are gone, that is it.
The colors create a number of textured effects depending on the substrate, type of paper and the amount of water used when they are applied. The magic unfolds as the colors dry and the pigments start to separate. The colors have a luster when light gently hits the surface and some have a slightly gritty texture.
Due to the unique handcrafted manufacturing process of this product, the color swatches in the photos may be different. Colors are created in small batches which results in each set being slightly different.
