Handcrafted with the mixed media artist in mind, these unique paints are created by Traci Bautista in small limited edition batches
They are handmade with a blend of waxes {organic soy & organic beeswax} and a mixture of natural earth pigments and micas. Some have different variations of metallic sheen and multiple pigments.
COLORS: You will receive a random mixture of FALL COLLECTION COLORS {see photos for colors} If you order more than one set, you will receive different colors in each set.

You'll receive a beautiful package full of handcrafted wax paints perfect for mixed media effects
- they can be used as wax resist with #tracibautistacolor handcrafted artisanal watercolors
- For glazing and shading effects use a hog bristle brush
- Use with stencils and a scrubber brush or sponge
- mark making ~ create thin and thick lines
- mix with linseed or walnut oil for washes,
- melt and use a palette knife for textured effects
- sgraffito with a stylus
- paint onto paper, fabric, or canvas...

ABOUT THE PIGMENT BARS: Each collection is one-of-a-kind. There are limited quantities and they tend to sell out.
They have an oil pastel consistency and can be thinned with oils or painted in thin layers using a brush.
It’s recommended to wear gloves when painting with pigment bars. Keep paper towels handy to wipe off excess paint.
The pigment bars can be sealed with Spectafix fixative. Apply 3-5 coats, one layer at a time letting it dry for 3 minutes, then repeat.
NOTE: the photos are samples of the PIGMENT BARS. Due to the unique handcrafted manufacturing process of this product, the color swatches in the photos may be different from monitor to device. Colors are created in small batches which results in each set being slightly different from the next batch.
